Julia Fish is our featured artist this month.
Julia was born in New York in 2000 and has lived in New Jersey all of her life. Currently a Glen Rock Resident, she attended the Bergen County Academies, a public magnet school, for high school. There, she was in the Academy for Visual Arts and received education in artistic disciplines ranging from graphic design and fine arts to printing and book binding. She has experience in painting, drawing, ceramics, sewing, and graphic design. She interned as a graphic designer at Alfalfa Studio, a graphic design studio in Soho, throughout the 2017-18 school year. One of her drawings is currently on display at Ellis Island. In her free time, she enjoys reading, ballet, listening to podcasts, and creating art.
Julia will attend Washington University in Saint Louis as a Danforth Scholar in the fall.
