How to sign up for a library card:

  1. Adults must bring a photo ID and proof of residency. A driver’s license with Glen Rock address works as both. We will also accept house deeds, bills, or other certified mail with your current Glen Rock address.

  2. Children ages 5 and up are eligible for library cards. They must come with a parent or guardian who lives at their address.

  3. If you'd like to allow a family member to pick up your requested items for you, click here for the form.

  4. Our library offers courtesy cards to people who work in Glen Rock but do not live in a BCCLS town. These cards are complimentary, for use in our library only. Proof of town employment required.

About The Bergen County Cooperative Library System

The Glen Rock Public Library is a proud member of the Bergen County Cooperative Library System, more commonly known as BCCLS (pronounced "Buckles"), a consortium of 77 libraries in northern New Jersey.

Glen Rock residents can use their library card at any of the 77 member libraries, and can request other libraries' items to be delivered to Glen Rock through the interlibrary loan program. Additionally, any materials borrowed from any of these libraries can be returned to any BCCLS library.

FREE Digital Resources for BCCLS Library Patrons

Through BCCLS, Glen Rock residents have access to digital resources to download and stream for items such as eBooks, audiobooks, music, tv shows, and movies.

Our cardholders also have access to a collection of proprietary databases that can be accessed online with a valid library card. These databases include magazine, newspaper, and reference articles, provide in-depth research resources, and span a wide variety of subjects including biography, business, history, literature, reader's advisory, and more.
