Meditations on Glen Rock Park

For the month of February, The Friends of the Glen Rock Public Library welcome the artwork of Kay Fialkoff to The Gallery. In her exhibition titled Meditations on Glen Rock Park,  her works on paper include watercolor, ink, cutouts, thread - a series of 16 works. Created in states of flow and altered states of consciousness she reflects, “Glen Rock Park Duck Pond became my muse. My visits were a matter of limited time and opportunity. When drawn to a particular part of the landscape, I entered a deep state of concentration, freeze-framing images. I often arrived at a state of awareness that can only be described as a state of oneness. This process has served me well in all of my creative endeavors.”

Meditations on Glen Rock Park works on paper reflect her responses to those on-site visits through stream of consciousness processes.
