Did you know Morristown was the Military Capital of The Revolutionary War? Join Revolutionary War Lecturer Joel Farkas in the Library as he explains why General Washington chose Morristown twice for his winter encampments, how the troops survived the brutal winter of 1779-1780, the attempted kidnapping of Washington, the many historical sites and landmarks you can visit and more fascinating facts of the War. Joel is a U.S. Army Officer and a retired Washington's Headquarters docent.
